Philosophy Statement

Design should be both creative and innovative. Creativity lies within the designer himself, but innovation is the most important trait I strive for because is innovative as well, always needing new ideas. Design requires innovation and I want to use it to help others out and in turn be able to see in become a reality as opposed viewing it two dimensional. Be bold in your work and be passionate in what you do.

Resume

This is my final resume that I completed. I used Adobe Illustrator to lay it out. The logo was the same one that I used for my previous project, because I really liked the simplicity of it. The layout of it is easy to follow and my skills are explicitly stated. I think I'd be a fine candidate for this postion.

Logo Design

My logo design is a simple black and white icon that should read pretty well in grayscale and in color. It also looks professional and the fonts that are displayed are also clear. Had other design ideas that I also practiced with in the hand drawn sketches a digital sketches.

Project 1( Textile Design)-ID 197

Hispanic Culture was the main inspiration behind this textile design. Mexican and Spanish textiles were researched as well as colorful tile patterns. Several aspects of these patterns were then used and manipulated in the final layout. Other objects such as flowers and circular designs from tile were combined to create this unique, colorful pattern which creates a textile that seems to capture a Hispanic culture and vibe.

Apartment Sketch:

The layout of our apartment is simple yet very spacious. The two bedrooms are fairly large, each measuring approximately 11x17 feet each and equipped with walk in closets. The kitchen layout is particularly odd, as the refrigerator door's swing path prevent anyone from from entering the kitchen. The same problem exists with a few other doors in the apartment. But there are some positives to the space as it allows for a lot of natural light enter through large windows in the living space and bedrooms.
